June 2012-3 Layer drinks,Brownie Fruit Pizza

Another month, another fun, relaxing and motivating meeting. We met at Corrie's where we spent the first hour shopping in her personal quilt store. Thank you Corrie! That was lots of fun and we all could have spent even more time (and more money) browsing about.
Here are our show and tell pics:

Corrie's shop hop block-red, white and blue theme
Corrie's bag with top stitching done with Size 12 Finca thread.
Bag tutorial found at blog: In Color Order.
Robyn's Pizza Box Exchange quilt top-wow, it turned out great!
Robyn's Kaffe-inspired quilt top

Maurene's baby quilt, front and back

Maurene's apron
Jeanie's baby quilt
Diane's baby quilt with embroidery
Carolanna's ruffle quilt
Carolanna's corderoy quilt
Close-ups

Here are the fun treats Corrie made for us in honor of the 4th of July:
Chocolate covered pretzel sticks
Star shaped ice cubes for our drinks-ice cube molds found at Target.
Then Corrie demonstrated a fun 3-layer drink where the layers actually separate. First layer is a red punch. The sugar in the drink keeps it at the bottom
Next layer is a blue gatorade-pour it over the ice very slowly.
Third layer is a sugar free soda
Here's our finished drink!
Fun colored straws and a red, white and blue theme.
Then to top it all off, she made a brownie fruit pizza!! Delicious.
Thanks a lot Corrie!
