Christmas 2015-buffet

This may be posting a little late, but you know how the Christmas holidays go. Lots of family things take top priority. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and are now enjoying the fresh start of a new year. Here are the pics from our meeting in December. Thank you Jeri for hosting. Your house is the perfect spot for all of us and our annual Christmas buffet!
January's meeting (Jan. 28) will be at Rachel's.

Rachel made this knit scarf using her arms as the needles. She watched an online video tutorial and used Lionheart yarn.
Once the scarf was made, Maurene quickly made this cute button attachment. She actually made it right at our meeting.

Rachel also made these wool reverse appliques.

She also made this wool Christmas table topper.

Rachel made vinyl bags for kids church bags with the peek-a-boo windows.

Rachel made this using a special ruler called Sew Kind of Wonderful.

Rachel made this cute Frozen quilt for her granddaughter.

It's a panel, but she added all kinds of glitter glue, bedazzle gems, etc to make it stunning.

Maurene made this I Spy quilt.

Maurene also made this peach lap quilt. She used minky on the back.

Julia made this from pieces made from her great grandmother who was born in 1846. Many of the fabrics are Civil War fabrics.

Emily showed us her quilts from the quilt retreat.

Emily made this for her sister-in-law. She used two charm packs to make the pinwheels.

Emily also made this tumbler quilt. On the back she used a dinosaur minky.

Cindy made these wool mittens using wool sweaters and their ribbings. Inside is a polar fleece lining. She found an online pattern called life hacker.

Cindy also made these slippers which have lentils in the foot and can be heated up in the microwave.

Cindy made this from donated fabric and will give it away as a humanitarian quilt.

Cindy also made this scrappy quilt.

Another scrappy quilt made by Cindy using a pinwheel pattern.

Lenette made this BSU hero doll. She sewed the mask on and used a pattern she found online.

Nancy C. framed her paper pieced star.

Nancy also made this house quilt which is a gift for a realtor friend.

Also Nancy shared a link for some drawstring bags. It's called In Color Order

Corrie crocheted these hotpads.

Diane's daughter Nancy used die cut pieces from a store in St. George to make this flower quilt.

Monica decided to make three quilts quickly for family. This one is made from denim and flannel and will be used as a quilt to keep in the car. The pattern is from the Living Large book by Heather Mulder Peterson.

Monica made this one from denim and her son's shirts. The pattern is brick road.
