March 2015 Mtg - Quilty Peeps

Quilt Group was at Corrie's this month.

We had a small group
and a great time.

Jeri shared her painting.

Diane has been busy collecting fun fabrics
 and making covered buttons.
She found this darling magnetic chalkboard
to put them on.

Diane made the Merry Christmas banner
by Waltzing With Bears.

Lenette made these pretty
coasters and placemats.

A couple of Corrie's friends, Deanne and Kathy, came.
Deanne brought 2 quilts.
This one is for her daughter's Paris inspired room.

This is her missionary son's quilt.

Susan made this sweet top out of Scrumptious.

And this fun fall project.

Susan is doing a wool block of the month.
She shared her progress on these seasonal birds.

Then she's making these adorable
snap bags.  There are little sets.

They each have fabulous vintage buttons that
she inherited.

Corrie showed Quilt Fuse.
It's a fusible web, also used for watercolor
and bargello quilts to make placement easy.

Just cut 2" squares and iron on.
Then sew all of the vertical seams and
then the horizontal ones.

She hasn't sewn the horizontal seams yet.

For lunch we had an avocado chicken salad,
bread, SWIG cookies,

and you always need
a treat for the road.
