This quilt was so easy because... no seams to match.

Caren crochet this lovely afghan with her yarn scraps.
Nancy Crump and Diane Spackman made this quilt from orphan blocks that were given to Diane.
This quilt is going to Poland for a Ukrainian refugee.

Nancy Crump made this quilt from OPS (other peoples scraps) also!
This quilt is on it's way to Poland.
This is a tied scrap quilt made by Nancy Crump.
It will be donated locally.

Nancy and Diane gave ideas and suggestions for making memory quilts and teddy bears. Below are teddy bears made using grandpa's shirts. Each grand child gets a teddy bear.

The next three quilts were  made by Diane and her sister Karen Critchfield from Oakley, ID, from the shirts of Karen's husband who passed away 12 years ago at a young age.
These are the three kids' quilts, made for high school graduation over the last few years.

Speaking of panels...this is a Llama panel that Diane showed.
Also discussed at the meeting were Altra shoes. They are the walking shoe with a wide toe box, nice for wide feet or those with bunions or not! Several wanted to know the name.
SNACK TIME
fruit cups, homemade pretzels with dips, chocolate chip m&m oatmeal cookies and water.

Thanks to all who attended. We will see you at Nancy Christensen's home on Wednesday, May 31.
