April 2024 Meeting

Fun meeting at Robyn's this month! Here are the photos:
This is a machine embroidery Kimberbell table topper that Tina made into a pillow.

Diane made this fence rail quilt using 1 1/2" strips then sewed them into 3" blocks.

Diane also made this table topper using one charm pack. The Fabric line is called Slow Stroll

Darla made this quilt top using the Villa Rosa pattern. She made several quilts while wintering in Arizona and donated them to the homeless.

Cindy knitted the sweater and crocheted the two Lovey animals. Loveys are only have stuffed heads, arms and legs. The pattern book she used is in the center.

Nancy made this zipper pouch with her granddaughter. The pattern is the Hemingway Bag.
ByAnnie is the pattern company.

Nancy made this quilt. She used the English paper piecing and appliqué technique. The custom quilting is amazing.

Lenette made this quilt top. She brought border fabric possibilities to audition and get opinions.

Debbie made this Spring wall hanging. This one shows the easy wooden hanging block that she explained how to make.

Debbie also made this wall hanging.

Debbie made this table topper.

Jean made these two table runners.

This is the pattern book Jean used to make the table runners above.

This is a picture of a crumb quilt that Robyn's friend made with small scraps. Robyn demonstrated how to make the crumb squares(below).

Also Robyn showed everyone how to make quilt postcards. There is a picture and instructions for  making the quilt postcards. She made one and mailed it to herself to make sure that it would work. Then she gave each of us Peltex and an adhesive sheet to make our own postcard.  We drew names to find out who would be receiving our postcard. Participants will bring the postcards they receive in the mail to share next month!
