Here is our fun show and tell for our meeting in July which was held at Jeanie's home.
Nancy C. made this little flower girl's dress.
These are ring cushions Nancy made from the dress her grandmother gave her.
Nancy also made this quilted bag.
This is an auction quilt Nancy made for the Syringa Girl's House in Nampa. The pattern is free and online and called Charmed Whirlgigs.
This is a doll quilt to compliment the auction quilt.
Diane made this flannel baby quilt. She said making a strip quilt like this works best if you alternate your sewing directions when adding another strip.
Diane made this Low Volume quilt using neutral colors and it is paper pieced.
Diane also made this quilt called Scrappy Summer from a free pattern online from Cluck Cluck Sew.
Jeri made these little girls dresses from the pillow case dress patterns.
Nancy F. made this star table topper
Robyn made this fleece baby quilt. She found the binding fabric at Craft Warehouse.
Rachel made this quilt using vintage sheets. Several of the sheets were from Cannon and they are 50/50 sheets from the 1950's. Her hint for making something like this was to look for top sheets and pillowcases.
Rachel also made this quilt and used minky fabric on the back.
Rachel made these cute lady bug dolls
Rachel also made these bee dolls.
Corrie made a camping quilt using Lori Holt's pattern.
Corrie also mentioned that she has walnut shells available from her online shop Quilttaffy. The walnut shells are great for making pin cushions.
After show and tell Jeanie gave a demo on making a padded hanger with zipper pockets to hold jewelry. Thanks Jeanie!!
