Sept 2020

This month we met outside under a church's pavilion on a beautiful fall day.  Here are the photos of our show and tell. Our next meeting will be the last Wednesday in October, the 28th. Lenette and Cindy will be hosting.

Here are three of the finished quilts made from our group's project Meet the Makers. There are several more to show in the future.

Rachel made this Christmas quilt called Wooded Whimsy from Coriander Quilts.
Debbie Busby, owner of Wooden Spool Designs, has now come out with her own fabric line called My Red Wagon. This is a quilt Rachel made for her using the new fabric line.
Debbie made these two (top and bottom) wall hangings using patterns from Bonnie Sullivan.

Diane made this scrappy squares baby quilt.
Diane's 10 yr old granddaughter made this quilt to give away to a humanitarian charity.
Diane made this book sleeve.
Darla made this batik quilt.
Darla made these tablerunners for various holidays.
Darla also made these yarn card holders using plastic canvas.
Darla made more hats for donating.
Diane made these eyeglass cases.
Diane also made this doll sleeping bag and pillow.
Darla used this cougar panel to make a quilt by adding the border.
This is another quilt top Darla made for donation.
Darla used a layer cake to make this top.
Caren told us about a tradition she has to make a lone star quilt for those who get married in her family. This is a photo of a photo of the latest one she made. She quilted this by hand.

Jeanie made this trip around the world baby quilt for her 28th great grand child.
This is Jeanie's Meet the Makers quilt.
Jean made these next 3 pillow covers, 2 for Halloween and 1 for Christmas.


Darla made this panel quilt.

Lenette made these dishcloths.
Lenette also made these baby bibs and burp cloths.
These are quiet books that Lenette made.
Cindy made this fence rail star quilt.
Jean used her embroidery machine to make this little apron.
Jean also made this lone star quilt using the QuiltSmart foundation pieced method.
This is a glow-in-the-dark pillowcase Jean made.
Nancy made this quilt for her 8 yr old grandson who's favorite colors are black, gray, and red.
Nancy also made these placemats using the single fold method for the binding and used vintage sheets to make the napkins.
This is a Lella Boutique pattern called Harvest Garden that Nancy made.
Here is Monica's Meet the Maker quilt.

Kathi made this quilt using the disappearing 9-patch method. It was a free pattern called First Crush Charm. She made the border using leftover squares. Rachel quilted it for her.

Kathi also made this clamshell quilt top and used the Accuquilt to cut out all the clamshells.

Caren made this scrappy 3" square quilt top. 

Susan made this Christmas wool quilt using different pattern artists for each square.
These wool pillows were also all made by Susan.

These squares are from the Spellbound Mystery quilt Susan is participating in from a Facebook group.
Susan made this wool quilt from another Facebook group using patterns from Woolen Oak-acorn blocks.
Susan and Rachel are working on a quilt together, so Rachel made Susan this little bag to help keep things organized.
Susan also made this wool and flannel quilt.
Rachel made this camping quilt.
Rachel also made this quilt for one of the bunk beds in her camper.
This is one of several similar dolls that Rachel has made and sold called Tilda dolls.
Rachel made this Halloween table runner using wools.

Rachel made this wool quilt using Bonnie Sullivan's All through the Night patterns.
Rachel used the Sew Kind of Wonderful curved ruler to make this pumpkin quilt.
This is a Halloween Star quilt Rachel made using a Fig Tree design.
